A member of the Metropolice Force is expected to be professional, concise, and punctual in all aspects of their duty. Due to their nature, Human error is frowned upon, though inevitable, and these imperfections are expected to be reduced as a unit progresses through their career, whether upon their own volition or not. The following is the expected procedure of a unit.
General Protocol
- Non-HC units may not publicly amputate unless ordered by HC or defending their own or another unit's life.
- Units may not tarry with citizens.
- Units may not remove their face mask outside the nexus unless during medical emergency at HELIX's own discretion.
- Units may only enter the UCH as far as the lobby during patrol. RCT and i3 may not enter the UCH at all unless accompanied by at least an i2 or will suffer disciplinary action.
- Entering the UCH always requires a partner unless pursuing an individual.
- Units must always radio when going on and off duty.
- Units must always radio when exiting or returning to the nexus.
- Individuals that have evaded capture must be immediately reported so that they are added to BOL lists.
- Any hint of an unaccounted for biotic within the city's parameter must be immediately reported.
- Unaccounted for units must be reported so that their digits may be added to BOL lists.
- On-duty units may not tarry within the nexus without proper reasoning.
Hardpoints
- When the appropriate amount of units are maintaining sociostability (At least four), Two units are required to clamp Hardpoint SHADOW. If Hardpoint SHADOW is not constantly maintained when the appropriate number of units are on the ground, disciplinary action may be taken upon patrolling units for negligence.
- At least two units must clamp a hardpoint unless specifically ordered to do so solo. Three or more units are advised during Code Yellow and above.
- Both units must radio in when beginning to clamp.
- Both units must radio in when declamping.
- When declamping for purposes other than a lack of patrolling units, a replacement unit must be sought immediately. The units currently clamping must maintain the clamp until relief arrives.
- During Code Yellow or above, at least one unit must clamp Hardpoint NOMAD and deny all entry.
- During Code Yellow or above, passage through SHADOW is prohibited, though exiting from District Two is permissible with searches of those exiting.
- During Code Yellow or above, the UCH Doorway to VICE bridge is locked.
- Citizens with negative points must be searched before passing through Hardpoint SHADOW.

- Units must maintain a continuous patrol pattern that moves throughout all of District One. This includes the plaza, the road leading to the Trainstation and Factory, and the area behind hardpoint NOMAD leading to the Hospital and nexus front door.
- During Code Yellow and above, units are required to escort any citizens behind NOMAD to the plaza. If Code Yellow or above has been maintained for at least five minutes, immediately detain and prosecute those behind NOMAD for level two trespassing.
- During Code Green, units must have a valid reason for brandishing their firearms.
- District Two is strictly off limits unless during an operation.
- Only 02 and above may approach VICE bridge. Units must have a partner and must radio in their intention. Any unit, whether improper rank or without a partner is liable to disciplinary action.
Apprehension and Detainment
